  All the treatments we use are planned to avoid disruption of usual daily activities, and we'll work with you to prepare beforehand. While the length of treatment depends on the size of the space and the level of infestation, most commercial treatments can be completed in a single day or overnight when possible.

• Active Trapping & Monitoring

  In addition to the materials used during the treatment, your service professional will most likely recommend specialized tools to help monitor the ongoing activity and trap any new bugs that might think to join the party later. These items help you and your service professional monitor bed bug activity after treatment. Early detection is key to effectively treating and reducing infestations. These tools will likely include one or both of the following:

  Active Monitors:
  Small, inconspicuous plastic cups that are placed between each bed leg and the floor. The cups are designed to allow bed bugs to climb into their moats and become trapped there, providing a simple and effective way to reduce population and monitor for activity.

  Mattress & Box Spring Encasements:
  These encasements stop bed bugs from hiding in hard-to-see spots on sleeping surfaces. They also keep infestations from forming inside a mattress or box spring. This leaves bed bugs exposed and easily detected during visual inspections and treatments of sleeping areas.

• Post-Treatment Follow-Up

  Your service professional will perform a follow-up inspection a few weeks following your initial treatment in order to ensure its efficacy and your complete satisfaction as a JP Pest Services customer. This includes reassessing high-risk areas, inspecting traps, and advising on next steps if anything needs to be addressed.
