Nashua Humane Society: Care & Share Week 2020

Nashua Humane Society: Care & Share Week 2020

JP Pest Services is proud to support the Humane Society for Greater Nashua with a $1,000 donation this holiday season! The staff and volunteers of this animal shelter each year care for over 2,000 stray animals. The shelter's mission is to advocate for and enhance the lives of animals entrusted to their care while educating the community to strengthen the human-animal bond.

Not only does the Humane Society for Greater Nashua act as an animal shelter, but they also welcome animals that can no longer be cared for by their previous owners due to any variety of reasons. Thanks to their help, so many animals in the southern New Hampshire area are able to find their “fur-ever” homes.

In addition to caring for and placing stray animals in new homes, the shelter also offers low-cost vaccine clinics, dog training classes, and puppy socialization, all available to the public. In addition to the services provided under their own roof, the shelter’s team also assists in transporting dogs from overpopulated, high-kill shelters, often from southern states.

In their newest, volunteer-run program, the Nashua Humane Society is slowly making headway on supporting pets and pet owners in need by providing pet food & supplies, temporary housing, pet foster homes, and more to those desperately in need of these items and services. The pet owners that they are particularly seeking to help are veterans, people in rehab, people that have recently lost their homes, recent immigrants, disabled persons, those in transitional housing, and victims of domestic abuse.

Our hearts are full to be able to include the Nashua Humane Society in the first annual JP Community Care & Share Week! For more information on how you can help support the shelter and their four-legged residents, visit hsfn.org.
